CURRENT PROJECTS

Introducing Co.operative, a one-year collaborative music project by thirteen Chicago singers. Follow our process here and at http://co.operative.live.Instagr...

Co.operative (@co.operative.live) is a collaborative music project by a group of singers in Chicago. We've sung in choirs and jazz bands, in the shower and in church. We are writers and performers, activists and employees, teachers and students. Over the coming year, we invite you to watch us conceive, compose, and produce an album-length original work. We'll show you our work as we create it and our process as we design it, from sketch to finished product. Along the way, we'll learn about collaboration, about ourselves, and about each other. We hope you'll join us.

The real deal... mind-bogglingly talented, but even more than that, a true pro. [Corson’s] ability to know when (and how) to take the spotlight and when (and how) to help shed it on others reveals an impressive character.
— J. BEACHY, 2016

Barnard’s numbers were emotional, reflective pauses, with a surprising depth and energy for a show that ran only thirty minutes. [She] possesses a keen sense of character.
